I'm still here!

Hey everyone! I know it's been a long time since I've posted. Over 20 days I think. Sorry about that. I have been pretty busy the last few weeks, so I haven't gotten around to posting. 

I am in the middle of writing a post right now, but I need to wait, to be able to take some before and after pictures. I hope to have the post up by the end of the week.

I will probably not be posting the week of the 9th, because I will be out of town in Wisconsin.

One more thing... I am starting school (Co-op) in a few weeks. Because of that, I cannot guarantee that I will have a post up every week. But, I will try to post as much as possible.




I hope you all have been having an AMAZING summer! I know I have! I love being out on the lake, on a hot day!

Wednesday, July 10th, 2020, 8:27 AM - Drying Day- Hey everyone! If you've seen either of my Garden Tour Videos, ( 1 ,  2 , or 3 ) you'll know that I have a garden box, that contains a patch of dill. And the time has come to harvest some of it. If you're not familiar with dill, it's a buttery herb, that has a warm grassy aroma, with hints of lemon and anise, and a very fresh-tasting flavor. It looks very similar to fennel but has a different flavor profile. It has yellow flowers, that grow in many short stalks, coming from the top of the stem. This is where eventually the dill seeds will form. They have a very strong flavor, that's a little more like anise. Dill weed/leaves are very feathery and grow at random points along the length of the stem. One of the most common uses of dill is one of my favorite foods. Pickles! Healthy Living- Paused!!! ⏸

 Hey all! I know this post is not what you were expecting, but it had to be made. I'm sure you've noticed that I haven't posted since February... And it's July! I'm in the middle of my Healthy Living series, but I have to put it on hold for a bit. I lost some material that I need for week 3 and week 4, therefore I can't get the posts out to you guys. I was trying to figure out a solution and then I realized that there are many other things I could have been posting about in the last 4 months! (can't believe it took me this long)  So hopefully I will be posting more soon, but it won't be Healthy Living for a while.
