All about me; Where it all started

Hey everyone! Sorry, it's been so long since I last posted. I have been pretty busy with school lately.

Anyway, I have been thinking about this for a while, and I finally decided that I would do a post about my life. From about when I was 4. I know that I have some information about me on my profile... But I think that it's time for more detail. So I'll just get started with the story. *WARNING* there are lots of pictures!

This post will be laid out mostly with pictures, and a little "fact" stuff.































 At around age 4, I started to discover my love for food! And at age 6, I was cooking some meals for my family, by myself.
































When I turned 11, I got a shredding attachment for our KitchenAid mixer... For my birthday! And in the years after that, I started making all of the meals almost every day!

About my family... I have 3 siblings, 2 brothers, and 1 sister. And my parents.







In my free time, I love cooking, baking, cuddling with my bunny Thumper, walking in my garden, using my Aerial Hammock/Silks, hanging out with my friends, playing my guitar or piano, singing, songwriting, babysitting, blogging, teaching others, and almost anything that has to do with food!

Wednesday, July 10th, 2020, 8:27 AM - Drying Day- Hey everyone! If you've seen either of my Garden Tour Videos, ( 1 ,  2 , or 3 ) you'll know that I have a garden box, that contains a patch of dill. And the time has come to harvest some of it. If you're not familiar with dill, it's a buttery herb, that has a warm grassy aroma, with hints of lemon and anise, and a very fresh-tasting flavor. It looks very similar to fennel but has a different flavor profile. It has yellow flowers, that grow in many short stalks, coming from the top of the stem. This is where eventually the dill seeds will form. They have a very strong flavor, that's a little more like anise. Dill weed/leaves are very feathery and grow at random points along the length of the stem. One of the most common uses of dill is one of my favorite foods. Pickles! Healthy Living- Paused!!! ⏸

 Hey all! I know this post is not what you were expecting, but it had to be made. I'm sure you've noticed that I haven't posted since February... And it's July! I'm in the middle of my Healthy Living series, but I have to put it on hold for a bit. I lost some material that I need for week 3 and week 4, therefore I can't get the posts out to you guys. I was trying to figure out a solution and then I realized that there are many other things I could have been posting about in the last 4 months! (can't believe it took me this long)  So hopefully I will be posting more soon, but it won't be Healthy Living for a while. Healthy Living- Week 2

I know it's been way more than 1 week, but I've had a hectic 2 months, and I'm on vacation right now. So here we go, "week" 2. Tip #2 Find good subs. (substitutes)    I should probably start by defining exactly what I mean by "subs". Basically, they are healthier alternatives to less-healthy foods. But there a few things that you need to be aware of before you start. Finding good subs is an important key to eating and living a healthier life. There are so many things that people love, but have a hard time giving up. This is why it's one of my top tips for making a change. The first step is to determine the first couple of foods that you are going to find subs for. Then, you actually have to find the subs.
